Drive & Flight to Brisbane & Afternoon in Brisbane

Thank goodness for David because we had a LOT of luggage to fly to Brisbane. It was quite the challenge to try and squeeze it all into David's SUV. It was even more hilarious hauling all 12 suitcases, a coffee machine (don't ask), and 4 backpacks on 3 luggage carts into the airport.

On the flight to Brisbane
Here we are in the taxi we needed to hire in order to take all our luggage from the Brisbane airport to Paul Gardner's house. Paul is one of the people Matt will be working with during our time in Brisbane. He was nice enough to store 8 of our suitcases at his house while we spent
8 days in New Zealand.

Paul took us around Brisbane before we headed to our hotel at the airport before flying out to New Zealand the next morning. The kids LOVED the playground Paul took us to. It was another unique playground that was built around these amazing trees. Rylie said, "Mom its a kid friendly coffee shop with a playground!" She was totally right. There was a coffee shop right next to this incredible playground. Australians LOVE their coffee.

After playing at the park we took a walk along the Brisbane River and then out to a local restaurant.
It was a great way to see part of Brisbane.
