Melbourne Zoo

We took the tram to the Melbourne Zoo. The kids were beyond excited because the tram was a Star Wars Tram (meaning it was a new tram and was advertising for the new Star Wars movie).
Waiting for the tram

 Red Panda
Derek brought his camera and loved taking pictures of all the animals.
Rylie among the brightly colored coral!
A Tazzy Devil!!!! This is very rare because the Tasmanian Devil is endangered.
We got to see one eating breakfast (a chicken leg).

KOALA!! This was pretty cool to see a Koala in a eucalyptus tree!
Can you see the 5th member of our family in the background? A koala.

Wombat statue
There was a big exhibit about using less toilet paper and looking whose poo is who?

Cookaburra
Finally saw the bird that is in that song I've heard my whole life
"Cookaburra sits in the old gum tree. Merry merry king of the bush is he. Laugh Cookaburra. Laugh Cookaburra. Gay your life must be."

Ring tailed Lemur exhibit was cool because the lemurs were walking around open.
This was similar to the monkeys at the Phoenix Zoo.

The kids bought stuffed animals with their own money.
