Visit from Sylvesters!

It was an awesome surprise to get a text from my brother asking if Derek would like to go to a Coyote's hockey game with him and Max. I thought he was joking around but come to find out they were planning a trip the next weekend to come see us!!!! It was so awesome to have Uncle Patrick, Auntie Katie, Max and Jack visit us over spring break!!!

Day 1: Thursday - We enjoyed dinner together outside in the awesome weather!

Day 2: Friday -The first full day we headed to the zoo. We spent 4+ hours at the zoo and the kids LOVED it.

Every morning Jack couldn't wait to help Uncle Matt make coffee! :)

Day 3: Saturday - We took the light rail from downtown Phoenix to Tempe, climbed "A" Mountain, had snack at Paradise Bakery, took the light rail back to Phoenix. Later that night the older boys went to a Coyotes hockey game, while the girls and Jack played some serious games of High and Seek, Duck-Duck-Goose, and painted.

Someway on the hike down the mountain, Derek ended up tripping and doing a front flip into the dirt trail. This was how dirty he looked. Smiling and all, of course, and proud of the dirt. LOVE this boy!

Day 4: Sunday - After a gourmet breakfast we decided to take an impromptu day trip to Sedona.
There was lots of hiking, adventure, a yummy lunch and we got home late. It was so much fun! Everyone had a great time!!

 

 

 

Day 5: Monday - We hung out at the house, went swimming in the pool, and biked to the park. Ate dinner at Spinnatos.

 

 

 

 

Day 6: Tuesday - we had to say goodbye to everyone. Derek and Rylie were sincerely very sad. I am glad that we will get to see everyone in about a month!!
