Happy Valentine's Day! 

This year the kids got water bottles, goggles and Derek got an 'Everything is Awesome' t-shirt.

 Megan had a gymnastics meet in Phoenix so Emily and Megan flew in for Megan to compete. We got to go watch Megan and she was awesome. The kids LOVED the gymnastics meet.

One of my favorite things to do is take these 2 on a run with me. On this morning We needed Daddy to rescue us because we were not going to make it back in time for church. Daddy to the rescue!!

First sleepover! It went awesome. They were SO excited.

They talked to each other, played, and read books for about 45 mins and then fell asleep.

Happy 3rd Birthday Rylie Girl

 

Happy Birthday sweet Rylie Girl! We love you so much and are so proud of the big girl you are becoming. Its been so amazing to watch you grow this last year. The conversations you have and the questions you ask are amazing. You are curious about the world around you and love to explore. You are independent and love to do things on your own. You will often say, "I can do it by myself, Mommy." You are brave and outgoing. You confidently try new things and talk to other people. You make friends easily. You are a tough cookie and strong. When you fall you get right back up with little crying. You have an amazing smile that lights up the room. You love to be tickled. You love to get hugs and kisses and snuggle up with us. You have an amazing imagination and play with your dolls, princesses and stuffed animals in such creative ways. You love to dress up and wear your Elsa dress with a crown. You love to draw and color and write. You adore your brother. You love to wrestle him, play with him and have him laugh at what you are doing. You are incredibly thoughtful and always thinking about your brother (anytime you get given something you always ask if you can have one for him too). You are super smart and have memorized Mommy and Daddy's phone number along with too many songs to count, you memorize names of people and remember details about events. You love to read books and "practice" reading by yourself. You have memorized many books.You LOVE your Gracies - Purple Gracie and New Gracie. Purple Gracie is still your favorite, but you sleep with both of them. Your favorite color is purple and you love your purple sparkly Crocs. Your favorite movie is Frozen and favorite TV show is Daniel Tiger. Your hair has grown so much this past year. It is now down past the middle of your back and is still blonde (although I'm not sure how much longer it will stay blonde).

Things to remember - You have been potty trained since 2 yrs old and have been dry through the night since 2.5 yrs old. You have been sleeping in a big girl bed since 2.5 yrs old and dropped your nap at 2 yrs 8 months. Its hard to believe that you are already 3 and it seems like just yesterday you were born, yet I can hardly remember our family before you were born!! We LOVE you sweet girl!
